Peace Lashker using their power against poor people in Matani.


PESHAWAR, An aged woman from Sambi Khel has accused police and Aman Lashker of Adezai Matani of looting her household expensive things in the garb of searching of someone involved in bomb blast occurred in Matani area.

During a protest demonstration here outside cantonment Railway Station on Saturday, Mahrooba widow of Zaman Sher while talking to media persons said that an incident of bomb blast had occurred in Sambi Khel Sra Dargai (Matani) on 11th February 2012, in which she added some people had been killed.

But the on the other day 12th Feb, she said armed men of the Lashker and police with armor van raided her home by putting allegations on the family that they were involved the bomb blast.

The raid, Mahrooba said both the Lashker and police had violated the sanctity of Char Dewari, used abusive language for women, beat them and demolished her house with bulldozer.

The aged woman said they had no lady constable while raiding and entered the home without any permission and taken away 5 tola gold, 20000 rupees, blankets, 3 goats, 3 cows, mobile set etc.

She said they had their personal enmity in the area but their rivals were influential people while the police and its ally Lashker, which had been formed against terrorism, raided her home on the behest of their feud.

“We are not in involved in the bomb blast, we are being implicated by police and Lashker for sake of our rivals,” she claimed adding, “The blast was a well-planned, which was already claimed by the militants, proved their innocence”.

She further said such kind of raid of the Lashker by the help of police had been made on her resident in 2009 damaging things cost million of rupees. Some five children of the family were also present on the occasion who were carrying placards inscribed with slogans in favor of their demands.

Mahrooba, therefore, appealed to Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of cruelty of Police and Lashker and an impartial inquiry of the incident. She also demanded of Governor, Chief Minister Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa and provincial police chief to take action against their rival, Lashker and police, adding that compensation for reconstruction of her destroyed home and protection from them
