78 thousand special people jobless in Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa province, mostly were unregistered with the government and they didn’t even have identity card, which issued from Nadra for special people.
Government has issued order in 2009 for special people that they have quota in jobs In different departments, the quota for the educated special people were 2 % but department didn’t follow the rule for special people.
Department of social welfare had issued different notification to obey the government orders but still special people facing problems.
According to Mushtaq Hussein Qurashi, who’s the Chairman of the Peshawar association of the special rights government didn’t follow their own orders, he blamed the government that they issued Nadra special card for the Special person but amazing things, that common person have one window operation and special people facing problem because of no wheel chair track.
He said that special people facing problems when they out from home to make their own cards, there is no facility in public transport for special people. He said that when ever special people submit their forms for attestations we were facing problems.
