Nowshera – The Awami National party has shown their political power in Nowshera on Monday, When seven people lost their lives and 26 were injured in a blast.
The leadership of ANP, including Chief Minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti, Provincial president of ANP Afrasayab Khattak, Minister of Information Mian Iftkhar Hussein, Minister of Sports Syed Aqil shah, and MPA Shagufta Malik attended the demonstration in Nowshera Cantt.
The program was scheduled for 12.00 pm but started at 1.30 pm because the leadership of the Government in KP Province came late. Leadership flew in by helicopter from Peshawar to Nowshera because of security reasons. For the first time, a bullet proof stage was used for the Leadership of ANP in political demonstration.
The district managers sealed Nowshera City and Cantt for the Political Demonstration of the ANP. Also, they closed the boy’s schools in Nowshera Cantt. The political demonstration of ANP was held at the boy’s high school of Nowshera, so the management of the schools closed the school for their political purpose. More than 10 thousand chairs were available for the workers of the ANP, who participated from different parts of the Charsadda, Nowshera and Mardan Districts.
The Chief Minister of KP and Minister of Information addressed the political demonstration and said that the ANP government gives rights to Pukhtoon Nation and "now we have rights on our own land". They demanded in their addresses that the USA give drone technology to Pakistan. The Chief Minister and the Minister of Information refferred to Imran Khan as a "Play Boy" and said he didn’t know any thing and with the help of media he became leader. The Chief Minister announced media colony for journalists and the Minister of Information talked about terrorism and said that some people were supporting the terrorists in Nowshera District, we warn these people that they leave our area even in KP Province.
The strange things which happened in ANP political program, that in the presence of the Chief Minister Pashto Song plays during demonstration. This is according the National Anthem of the Pukhtoon Nation, written by Ghani Khan. The Pakistani National Anthem didn’t play during the Program, the Ghani Khan Song played in ANP program and all people including leadership of the ANP stood because of their respect for Ghani Khan poetry.
The workers of the ANP danced during Ghani Khan Pashto Poetry, which is called by ANP leadership the Anthem of the Pukhtoon nation.
More than five thousand police were deployed for the security for the political demonstration of ANP and all markets of the city and cantt were closed by force by the police.
After the 2 hour program, Chief Minister of the Province came out from the place of the demonstration and after 5 minutes a flying blast occurred near to the spot of the demonstration, in which seven people were killed and 26 were injured
