BOD of Pesco shows concern over Power Generation agreement of Pepco.

Peshawar – The Board of Directors of Pesco has shown concern about the agreement signed by Pepco in 2008. These agreements have make citizen worst position in Pakistan especially in Khyber Province. Most of the companies whose give electricity was sell to Pesco; price is high compare to expenses.

According to sources BOD of Pesco (Peshawar electric supply company) has cancel the first agreement of Gadoon Textile whose was give power generation to Pesco. Gadoon Textile sign agreement with Pepco to gives Power to Pesco, their power plant work in Gadoon Amazai Swabi area. But the owner of the Gadoon Textile also demands from Pesco for electricity.

Pesco gives Electricity to Gadoon Textile from one side and from behind the Power Plants Same Electricity again salts to Pesco on high rates. Gadoon bought 9 Rupees Pakistani per units from Pesco Power and other side same Power sale to Pesco on 20 Rupees per Unit.

The Management of Gadoon Textile start fraud with Pesco, with the help of Pepco, The agreement had sign in 2008. According to source the management of BOD also checks another agreement of Almoiez Company which also power Generation Company.

The company makes electricity from Sugarcane and supplying 12 rupees per unit to Pesco, Pesco sale the same unit on citizen on 15 rupees. Sources further said that Almoiez Company making in less charges units and selling to Pesco on high rates.

All burden of Expensive power generation goes to citizen, that’s why BOD of Pesco has show concerns over most of the agreements for power generation. According to sources Case against Gadoon Textile has sent to Nab Peshawar and investigation started against the Company.

Its also remind that Pesco Chief whose close relative of Awami National Party Leader Asfandyar Wali Khan still working as Chief Executive of Pesco , even he complete his time and retirement of the C.E Pesco was January 2012 but still he working as Chief Executive. This is because of Political interference in Different projects.

Although Supreme Court has already orders 4 month back that no Retire officer will work more in departments, but the help of Establishment and political leadership still C.E working at Pesco.
