Peshawar – The price of bomb disposal unit’s employees’ life is50 Rupees Pakistani in current situation of KP province, where daily two orthree blast occurred in province. These police officers had receiving 50 Rupeesdangers allowance for defusing the heavy bomb in different areas.
Peshawar is capital city of the KP province, where 16 police copson duty always. The chief of the Bomb Disposal Units always visit with VIPs tocheck the point, where the VIPs give address or they attend political meeting.
Most of the time chief of theBomb Disposal units checks different points for security reason; even they havespecial dogs and electronic devices. But the chief and his cops of BDU checkevery point by him self and that’s makes his life in danger. He lost his threefingers in I.E.D blast while he defusing the I.E.D blast and finger imputation.
In three different places thechief of BDU lost three fingers in I.E.D blast, his age is more then 50 years, anold man of Mattani area, Mattani is surrounding area of Dara Adam Khel. Mainhub of TTP groups, where every one suspected in eyes of Government.
There is no special place orbuilding for bomb disposal unit of Peshawarpolice, they were living in Gulbahar Police station. These members of the BombDisposal Units have receiving 50 rupees Danger Allowance (less then half dollar)monthly, but facing daily dangers in their lives.
Till yet four members of BombDisposal Units of Peshawar Police have lost lives during defusing I.E.D. theremaining staff of BDU now worried that some day they also killed during Duty.They said “ whenever some one said there is I.E.D blast fix and our team goesto defuse the I.E.D , its Honor for us “ we visits these type of dangerous area, but its make us poignant ,when we thoughts that our life price is 50 Rupees.
That’s the main reason for Police,that they didn’t want to join the Bomb Disposal Unit, because risk to life ishigh and Danger Allowance is 50 Rupees.
Another big issue of theseBomb Disposal Units members has less promotion compare to Other Police. Incharge of the Police Bomb Disposal Unit now work as Inspector, but its ShoulderPromotion which is temporary,
