New plan for polio reduction propose in Tribal areas of KP Province

Peshawar – The provincial government has proposed a new action plan for the reduction of polio in tribal areas. The proposal was completed by various health authorities and after the confirmation from the federal government, a new strategic plan will be started.

According to media reports, health authorities' new strategic plan includes talks with the militants or Taliban groups whose have power in different areas and were involved in the polio reduction campaign.

The action plan will be used in FATA areas, where people are worried about Polio and also in those areas where, because of security concerns, polio teams cannot move freely.

According to reports, the new action plan will be sent to the Governor of KP province for approval. After the approval, teams will be hired for polio campaign.
