New US Passports reached for US spy Dr. Shakeel Afridi in Pakistan

Islamabad – The Pakistani government has given a green light to the USA for the release Dr. Shakeel Afridi, who was spying for the USA in Pakistan. According to sources, the US foreign office has sent new passports for Dr. Shakeel Afridi and his family and handed them over to the US ambassador to Pakistan.

Copies of the passports were also sent to the Pakistani foreign office and interior ministry. Sources confirmed that Dr. Shakeel Afridi was was detained by security agencies for investigation and that yesterday Dr. Shakeel has been shifted to a safe house near Islamabad, where two US officials met with Dr. Shakeel and informed hime that, "very soon he will be released from security agencies with a new passport and transported to the USA".

Dr. Shakeel was kidnapped by unknown people last year from Karkhano Market, Peshawar. Provincial government had also dismissed him from the Health Department and his Wife Imrana Ghafoor, who was Principal of Dara Adam Khel Degree College, was also dismissed by Provincial governments.

Sources further said that her family is now in Afghanistan and will be moved to the USA with new names and passports.
